2020 Honda HR-V Canada

2020 Honda HR-V Canada – After debuting in 2016 and receiving front and rear refreshments in 2019, we expect the 2020 Honda HR-V to hit showrooms as a prolonged vehicle. As a transfer model, we expect the 2020 Honda HR-V to arrive with the same basic design it has had since 2016, except for the light updated in 2019. These carry-over looks will include its Honda Fit-like styling with the short rear overhangs, sharp hose, hidden rear door handles and new-for-2019 front and rear fascias. The 2019 model also received a new sports trim with black accents and 18-inch wheels, which we expect to remain in the 2020 HR-V lineup.

Inside, the current HR-V has got a new infotainment system with a physical volume button instead of clumsy touch-sensitive buttons, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The new-for-2019 HR-V Sport’s Cabin added a black headliner, gloss-black trim, and sport pedals. We expect all of these to remain the same in 2020 HR-V.

As there are no updates, we also expect the 2020 HR-v standard features to remain the same. If this proves to be correct, it will come as standard with a 5-inch infotainment screen, Power Windows, Power door locks, a four-speaker audio system, Bluetooth streaming audio and more.

Powertrain Control is another area we expect to remain unchanged in the 2020 Honda HR-V, which we look to continue with the same 141-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission. The only Powertrain Control variation will be paddle shifters in sport and higher trims and optional all-wheel drive.

Riding a wave of “good” crash test ratings and “superior” front-crash avoidance, the current Honda HR-V is an IIHS top safety pick. Remember, though, this is only valid on ex and higher trims that include standard auto emergency braking.

Piggybacking with AEB are other safety fogs such as Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane-Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a blind-spot camera. We expect these safety assessments and features to pass HR-V by 2020.

There is no official Release Date for the 2020 Honda HR-V, but we expect to see it in showrooms in the summer of 2019 as in previous years. With no changes coming, we expect prices to remain similar to the current model MSRP range of $ 21,565 to $ 29,585.
